5 Countries, 5 Days: 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER IN SPAIN

Hello everyone! Today we are glad to tell you all the details of our experience in the concert that the amazing 5 Seconds of Summer gave in Spain the 4th April.
(Both of us will be talking about it: Ankara will be the regular font and Alba will be the bold font)

When they announced they were giving a little gig in Spain, we couldn't contain our feels! And the tickets were being given away in a raffle!! Obviously we participated on it, hoping that the planets were correctly positioned and we were able to get some tickets.
Finally, on Monday, I received an email confirming that I had won one of the precious tickets...I couldn't do anything else than run (literally run, and I never run) though all the campus looking for Alba like a possessed fangirl.
However, Alba didn't receive her email that day, and I was decided to give my ticket to her because she was the one to really introduce me to their music.

But there was still hope, and there were some people who have won the tickets but couldn't go so they didn't confirm their attendance aaaaaand some of the people who were in the waiting list (like me) were sent the lucky email saying they have won tickets to see them! So the next day I received it and I couldn't believe it, I have never won anything in my life so this couldn't be happening!! but it was actually happening and I almost cried, I swear, because I had been waiting for so long to see them...and I was going to their acustic show for free!!!!

The awaited day arrived and after a 2h and a half journey, we arrived to Madrid, yay!! We arrived there at 11:00am and we were afraid that we would get one of the last tickets buuuuut we got the 493 and 494 of 750. We couldn't believe it! Where did all that luck came from?! They gave us some wristbands, beautifully decored with the name of the group, the date and the place (Madrid), that had the number they had previously given us to enter:

After that we headed to the nearest Starbucks (there were like 5 different ones in that area while in Valladolid there are none ¬.¬ ) and ordered two Chai Lattes (honestly, they were pretty amazing and good, you should try it).
We then took a strategic spot, to control the two entrances of the pub where the gig was going to take place.
A long time passed, taking selfies and escaning the rest of the fans like two gossiping grannies, when all of a sudden, a big black van appears; THEY WERE HERE!! They entered the pub, waving at the crowd and being gorgeous. Sadly, my stupid camera memory decided to be full in that exact moment so I didn't get any pics...But they were so happy, nice and smiling, waving to the fans that just awww.

Now I'll fast forward a little bit. After 9 hours waiting in a long long long queue we finally entered, and they gave us a guitar pick, A GUITAR PICK and a little pamphlet with photos and a poster! We were both dying at that moment already. We weren't expecting these gifts because, apart from Sweden, we didn't know they had given anytihng in other countries.
After taking a pretty decent place (sadly, we weren't able to see Ash because he was sitting and a damn girl with a banner blocked our view (I hated her so freaking much)), we prepared our cameras to record one of the best days in our lives, I was bouncing like a little schoolgirl! During the waiting, they put some amazing background songs like I Miss You by Blink 182, Good Charlotte, or Oh! Calamity by All Time Low (*High pitched scream*).
They finally appeared on stage and played Heartbreak Girl, Out of My Limit and Beside You where we showed them some signs that said: Real Bands Save Fans and Real Fans Save Bands. They really, really loved that detail, their smiles melted our heartsThey even say they loved the signs with huge smiles on their faces, and that moment was incredible, both (them and the fans) share an incredible moment that none of us will forget.

This is one of the only decent photos of Ash T__T
Luke and Mikey being adorable
The signs we showed during Beside You
Again, Michael and Luke
Mikey, Luke and Calum rocking it
Michael, Luke and Calum

After each song they replied to some questions and tried to speak a little in Spanish, they were sooooo cute!!
The end was near and then Luke announced that they were playing one more song, She Looks So Perfect. All the crowd sang their lungs out with them and it was one of those moments that you never want to end. One of those moments that remind you why you love a band so much and why concerts are one of the most amazing experiences in life.
They sound so good live, all of them have such great voices, and the acustic (who doesn't love acustic because they are THE BEST THING IN THIS WORLD) was incredible. Fans singing along with them, they enjoyed the experience and looked so happy that it made us happy too!

When they finished the song, said goodbye to us and went out the local to wave at the fans that couldn't enter to the show, take photos of them and just make them happy. I think this is one of the things that defines them, they are so nice, thankful and dedicated to their fans, making what's in their hands to please them and that is just lovely and...I just love them.

I really wish we could repeat that day again and again, because it was truly one of the most amazing ones in our lives

FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

Hello everyone! First of all, we're sorry for the lack of posts lately but we've been very busy at uni and unfortunately it's been impossible for us to upload buuuuuut we hope you like this post anyway :). Here are some of the things we've been loving in February:

FILM: THE GREAT GATSBY.

Ankara hasn't watched this film yet but I have and it's now one of my favourite films ever. When I watched it the first thing I loved (after Leonardo DiCaprio of course) was the clothes....OMG they are sooo beautiful and colourful! Actually the film has won an Oscar for it and I couldn't agree more. This film is based in the novel "The Great Gatsby" and it happens in the early 1920s, it tells the story of Gatsby's life, who is a successful and rich man, and his love for a girl, Daisy.
I have to admit  I thought this film was just a love story: a boy and a girl fall in love, they have problems with people because they don't want them to be together but finally they succeed and bla bla bla. BUT IT ISN'T. It has an ending that I wasn't expecting at all and the film had me with my eyes wide open all the time.
Also, I think Leonardo DiCaprio is a huge huge reason to see the film hahaha and its soundtrack includes the song "Young and Beautiful" by Lana del Rey. Here's the trailer:

MUSIC: MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS.

Lately we both can't stop listening to 'How to be a heartbreaker', is stuck in our heads hahaha her attitude is just wow, she's a strong and independent woman that doesn't need a man to be happy. This song will always cheer you up! And the video is so provocative, just like one a man would do (with all those girls half naked), Marina is fully dressed and surrounded by hot, half naked boys.... and well, who wouldn't like to be in her shoes? ;)

MAKE-UP: BABYLIPS.

This isn't a "make-up" thing really but they're amazing!!! I have been buying this balms aaaaaaall the winter and I have had like three or four hahaha They hydrate your lips for a long long period of time and you have an incredible range of them in all the flavours. (Now I want one, thanks Alba ¬.¬ )
Also they have "Babylips colour" ones, that are like a lipgloss, and you have different colours to choose. unfortunately I haven't seen these ones in Spain but I hope they will be available here soon *fingers crossed*

FOOD: SKITTLES

Obviously it isn't a proper food hahaha but it is candy and...who doesn't like candy sometimes?
They come in a pack (they have different ones)  which depending of its colour they taste different: the green ones (which are sour), the light blue ones (tropical), the red ones (I think they're the MAIN type, just candy), the dark blue ones (I honestly have never tasted them) and the purple ones (wild berry) I'm sure there are more types but these are the ones I have seen.
When I was in London last summer I loved them and when I came back, I introduced Ankara to them aaaaaaaaand she has become an addict too hahahaha. Thank God, they've opened a shop in our city that sells American food and candy...Now we can eat them everytime we want!
Our favourite one is the red package:

It has different flavours inside of it, depending on its colour it tastes differente: green ones are lime, yellow ones are lemon, purple ones are blackberry (these are the best ones <3), etc.

TV SHOW: TEEN WOLF.

We know we've already made a post about this series but, we love it soooooooooo much. It is an incredible series and on season 3 they are making such good episodes and everything with plot twist and OMG we can't wait for the next one to come out! There are only three more episodes left to end this season and they are going to be so full of emotion that they're going to give us chest pains ._____.
If you want to know more about Teen Wolf we'll link our post of it : http://blooog-your-heart-out.blogspot.com.es/2014/02/movie-out-of-my-way-otp-comming-teen.html

BOOK: FANGIRL

What can I say about this absolutetly amazing and perfect book? Rainbow Rowell catches perfectly the life of the typical tumblr blogger from the fandom side. Cat is a fanfiction writter that starts university
with her twin, Wren who wants to start a new life without Cat (very kind of her, you know?). There, Cat meets Levi (*squeals*) and Reagan, who help her survive the difficult (and lonely) universitarian life.
I can relate to Cat in so many ways! She's awkward, shy and she's obsessed with Simon Snow (a series of books deliberately similar to Harry Potter). To sum up, for the rest of the world she's a freak.
I'll definitely do a longer review of this book so I won't tell you anything else...just read it!

QUOTE OF THE MONTH: ' Love yourself so no one has to'

This is a lyric from "Therapy" by All Time Low, one of the most beautiful songs of all time <3 Now is Ankara who's talking hahaha. This song means so much to me, as you will see if you scroll down a little bit.
It talks about always being yourself no matter what, but I'll let Alex (the lead singer) tell you about it with his own words

RANDOM: OUR TATTOOS.

These are our FEBRUARY FAVOURITES in capital letters hahaha. At the beginning of February each one of us got a tattoo:
Alba's tattoo.

Ankara's tattoo.

We were think about getting these long time ago and finally we decided to make it yeyyyyyy! We just want to share them with you :)

So we hope you've enjoyed this post, let us know in the comments and if you had suggestions or something you want to tell us do it as well! And if you have liked it, why not to share this with your friends or someone who would like it? It will be very nice of you :)

Make up my mind: HAIR CARE

Although this section is supposed to be about make up, I've thought of include also skin/body/hair care and some tips or things like hairstyles, would you like it? Let me know in the comments :)

So, today Im going to talk about hair. For me, hair is one of the most important things and I care a lot about it, Im always using products to try to make it look better and healthier. These products are currently my fave ones:

The product on the left is "TRESemmé Diamante Fuerza Extrema" (in English is called "Heat Defence Styling Spray"), the one in the middle is "Sérum oro líquido, aceite de Argán" and the one in the right is "Champú oro líquido, aceite de Argán".

TRESemmé Diamante Fuerza Extrema/ Heat Defence Styling Spray : this is  my current fave hair product because I swear its amazing. I've been using this product for a month more or less and I can see the results. I use the hairdryer and the heat-straighten a lot, everytime I wash my hair (almost everyday) I use them, so I felt my hair was weaker and was starting to break and I had heard a lot of good things about this product so I decided to buy it and for me it has been a miracle. My hair is a lot lot better, shining and healthy so I recommend this to everyone specially if you have dry hair.I spray it on wet hair to make it soft and shining and then I spray it again when my hair is dry and before use the heat-straighten to protect the hair from them.

Champú y sérum oro líquido, aceite de Argán (Deliplus): this product is from a Spanish supermarket (Mercadona) but Im sure in other countries they have it too, it's a serum and a shampoo of argan oil. I've been using other argan oil serum, not this one, since the last summer and I have to say I think its the best hair product ever, I needed to buy it online because in Spain didnt exist but one day I found it in a supermarket and I couldn't be more happy. Argan oil nourishes your hair like, in my opinion, no other product does, my hair has complete change since I started to use it and if you use it like me with an argan oil shampoo, believe me you will be amazed. I use the shampoo as an ordinary one, during my shower and I use the serum on wet hair, spraying it onto the half of my my hair (avoiding the top of the head because it could make your hair oily) and then I brush it also avoiding the top of the hair.

I want to say Im just talking from my experience, this products have worked so well on me and my hair is so good since I use this three products, but maybe they dont work for everybody. Despite this, if I were you I'll try them.
Let me know in the comments if you are using some similar products or if you've ever used them and also if you try it now let me know if they work on you :)

'Movie' Out Of My Way: FROZEN

We are here once again with another Movie Out Of My Way post. This time is about Disney's last masterpiece: Frozen.
This film tells the story of Anna and Elsa, the princesses of Arendelle. Elsa, has ice powers but she's scared of them and sets an eternal winter by mistake.

After this, Elsa runs away and Anna starts an adventure with Kristoff, Sven and Olaf (he's a snowman and likes warm hugs) to try finding Elsa and ask her to melt the ice that covers Arendelle.
I can officially tell you that this is my favourite Disney film of all the time and Elsa is my favourite Disney princess as well, she's so elegant and beautiful!

The thing I like the most about it is that it isn't centered in love like the other princesses' films; It is centered in the sisters' relationship and how it develops,  Anna's bravery and how Elsa gets to accept herself and her amazing powers.
Also, I wasn't very pleased with Olaf's character when I saw the trailer because I thought that it was going to be the typical pain in the neck, but I totally loved him. He's really funny and cute! He's also a bit naive, because he loves summer, but he doesn't know what happens to snow in summer...

The animations is beautiful, the colors are amazing and the songs? Omg, the songs. I know every single word of Let It Go. If it doesn't win the Oscar I'll personally kill someone.

It also has one of the biggest plot twists in Disney's history, I couldn't believe what I was watching. *SPOILER*Hans you fucker*SPOILER*
To sum up, it definitely worths your time. It's beautiful and it will melt your little heart. However, if you aren't into musicals you may not like it, because they are singing almost all the time.

So, Have you watched the film? Did you like it? Let me know in the coments below!

So many bands, so little money: 5SOS

Hello everyone, today I'm going to talk about a band that I discovered like a year ago more or less, and I really really love, they are: 5 Seconds Of Summer.

It's an Australian punk-rock band of 4 boys: Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford and Luke Hemmings. They started uploading covers on Youtube and making some small gigs but they became more popular in Australia and make some songs by their own and released an EP called "Somewhere New" with four songs. These are some of them:
Heartbreak girl.
Out of ,my limit (personally, one of my favourites).

Then they started touring with One Direction in their Take Me Home tour as the supporting band, but not in the Europe tour (except for UK). They became more famous all around the world and made acustic shows in USA while they were touring with One Direction. When the Take Me Home tour finished they made their own gigs in UK and Australia, selling everything out in places like London.

They have been writing their album for a long time, composing their own songs and writing with some groups like All Time Low and Good Charlotte. They have released some songs that are going to be part of this new album:

Try Hard.

Wherever you are (this specially for the fans OMG)

And yesterday they gave us the brand new song called "she looks so perfect", that is also going to be part of the new album:

Now they're currently touring in the UK with all the shows sold out. Hopefully one day they will do the same in Spain and other European countries, and also hopefully their album will be out this year.

This is one of my favourite groups definitely, they have influences of Blink 182, Sum 41, All Time Low, Good Charlotte, and some other punk groups. They have something special, different and one of the things that I like the most, apart of their music that is soooo good for such a young group (they're very very talented), is how close they are with fans. They're always on Twitter/Instagram telling us what they are doing, giving us information and when they meet people they're sooo kind and close that it's like your talking to a friend.
So, I think if you don't know them  yet you need to do it, specially if you like this type of music, believe me they're reaaaaally good. You can also follow them on Twitter @5SOS and there you'll find their personal ones.

I hope you like this post and I've showed you a need band that you may like, let me know what you think in the comments below :)

"Movie" Out Of My Way. OTP Comming: TEEN WOLF

"The series revolves around Scott McCall, a high school student living in the town of Beacon Hills. Scott's life drastically changes when he is bitten by a werewolf, becoming one himself. He must learn to balance his problematic new identity with his day-to-day teenage life. Throughout the series, he strives to keep his loved ones safe while maintaining normal relationships with them."

The summary doesn't say much about the series, right? This is a great example of the saying: "Don't judge a book by its cover"...or a series by its title in this case.
You (as I did when I first heard about Teen Wolf) may think that this is just another romantic MTV series for teenage girls. In the first season yeah, you might be right...

This series is sooooo underrated, just because of the fricking title!! You made a terrible decision, dear title choosers.
It's true that the first season is really centred in Scott and his relationship with Allison, but seasons two and three are just so good! Every episode ends with a cliffhanger and it's frustrating but awesome at the same time!
Did you think it's all about wolves? Then, hell no! There are all kinds of freaky creatures: kanimas, banshees, kitsunes, demons and who knows? Maybe someday they'll give us a dragon! hahahaha

Aaaaaand I don't know what else to tell you. I don't want to spoil anything! Just trust me. This series is worth your time. It has action, mistery, romance, it's even spooky sometimes! It literaly has it all. (If you are a guy, you'll definitely like it too)

I'll leave you the season trailers so you get an idea of how awesome it is:

If I haven't convinced you yet and you like to watch series full of pretty faces and amazing personalities. Here you go, Teen Wolf has plenty of them (Alba and me are completely in love with Isaac and Stiles)

(From left to right: Isaac, Stiles, Scott, Derek, Lydia and Allison)

So do you watch Teen Wolf? Have you ever heard about it? Will you watch it? Let me know in the comments below!

Harry Potter and The Fangirl princess: THE MAZE RUNNER

"MEMORIZE. RUN. SURVIVE.
Welcome to the Glade. You’ll see that once a week, always the same day and same hour, we get supplies. Once a month, a new boy appears, like you. Always a boy. As you can see, this place is surrounded by stone walls…You have to know that these walls open in the morning and close at night, always at the same exact hour. On the other side, there’s the maze.

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he's not alone. When the lift's doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade, a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.

Just like Thomas, the Gladers don't know why or how they got to the Glade.

Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up and she's the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. But more surprising yet is the message she delivers.

Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind."

Three days ago, I've started this trilogy and I'm a few pages away to end the third one. I just can't explain how much I've loved this books so far.

I have to admit I've had this books saved in my computer for at least a year, but they never caught my attention. However, after reading a lot of good reviews and finding out that the lovely and amazing Dylan O'Brien (♡) was going to be the main character in the film, I couldn't wait any longer.

From the start, you have no idea what is happening. As the summary says, Thomas only can remember his name and the rest of the Gladers refuse to give him any extra information about the Glade or the maze that surrounds it. Then, Teresa arrives with a note that says "She is the last one. Ever." and three words written in her arm "WICKED is good". After this, things get "shucked" (that's the word they use for cursing hahahaha): supplies stop arriving, the sun disappears and the grievers (some ugly mechanical monsters that run arround the maze) starts killing one boy per day. They have to find the exit as fast as possible and Thomas is the only one who can solve the maze.

(from left to right: Frypan, Newt, Thomas, Chuck & Gally)

The lack of information hooks you to the book, and doesn't let you leave it until you get answers. However, every time you get any explanation, another plot twist happens and you have to read and read and read. So thank you, James Dashner, I lacked study hours because of you. (no, please, I love you)

The book is so well written and planned. In the end every small detail makes sense leaving you with your jaw on the floor and your brain beggin you to start the next book.
I definitely recomend this trilogy, but beware, it will give you a book hangover, leaving you unable to read any other book for a week or so. To sum up:

The release day was 14th February, but sadly, they changed it and we'll have to wait till September to watch the film.

Have you read this book? What's your oppinion about it? Let me know in the coments below!!
